- Charter features some of the latest software titles, including Microsoft Office XP with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, FrontPage, and Project, Windows 2000 Server, Linux, Novell NetWare, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Macromedia, Medical Manager, Peachtree Accounting and Quickbooks. Charter's software library is regularly updated to provide the latest in application offerings and software versions. Charter College offers a unique and flexible schedule of classes geared toward assisting students in completing programs in optimal time. When full-time students follow recommended course selections, they can complete an associate degree in just 6 quarters (15 months) of study or a bachelor's degree in 12 quarters (2½ years). Courses are offered on a rotating schedule during the daytime, afternoon, and evening from Monday through Saturday. To meet students' needs, full-time (12 or more quarter credit hours) and half-time (6-11.99 quarter credit hours) schedules are available. Charter College is a Corporate Member with the Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) organization. BICSI is a vendor neutral group determined to enhance the telecommunications industry by providing excellent education, promoting skill sharing, and assessing knowledge with professional registration programs. Charter College teaches students cabling standards and codes through the use of BICSI educational courseware. Charter College maintains an educational affiliation with Cisco Systems as a Cisco Networking Academy. This relationship allows Charter to provide web-based content, online assessment, student performance tracking, and hands-on-labs in several Cisco courses.
