NFC is well known for its comfortable campus setting, supportive environment and attention to student success.NFC students enjoy comfortable class sizes, usually with 24 students or less, and access to state-of-the-art educational facilities and the latest technology. Personalized advising, financial aid opportunities, student support programs, tutoring, learning resources and an active Academic Success Center are all in place to help students succeed.
For those looking forward to a four-year degree, NFC is a great place to start. The state`s 2+2 articulation agreement guarantees students completing an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree at NFC the opportunity to enroll and earn a bachelor`s degree at a state university.
For those looking for a direct career path or career advancement, NFC`s Associate in Science (A.S.) degrees, Bachelor of Science in Nursing bridge program, and various certificate programs offer specialized training and career development, boasting high job placement rates following graduation. Many of NFC`s certificate programs can be completed in one year or less to earn state and national certifications.

- The Hardee Center for the Arts hosts monthly exhibits (fall/spring) and a walk across campus reveals NFC's impressive outdoor public art collection. Student art is also routinely featured in the Hardee Center and in NFC's Bacot Gallery.
- The Colin P. Kelly Fitness Center offers students a wonderful place to stay fit and healthy; community passes are also available.
- NFC Community Theatre allows students and the community to audition and take the stage. Participants gain experience in acting, directing, lighting, set design and other areas of the theater.
