• Fletcher Technical Community College in conjunction with Region 3 Tech Prep will be offering a 3 day Technology Summer Camp. Activities will be offered by 9 different technical programs: Automotive, Air Conditioning, Drafting & Design, Electrical, Electronics, Machine, Marine, Marine Diesel, and Welding.

  HOUMA - A trash can fire at L.E. Fletcher Technical Community College Tuesday led to the arrest of a student on arson charges. Joshua Paul Dupre, 19, 118 Berwood Drive, Houma, was arrested by Terrebonne Sheriff’s Office investigators after he was reportedly observed on video surveillance tape near the men’s bathroom where the fire started.

  PUBLIC SERVICE The following is a rundown of action taken by the Terrebonne Parish Council at its Public Services Committee meeting Monday. All council members attended. All decisions were unanimous, unless otherwise noted. Action: Hired W.G.S. Contractors to relocate the East Street sewer-lift station at a cost of $33,852.
