EARL J. MARTIN JR., an instrument technician, founded ITI Technical College in 1973. He developed the teaching
philosophy and personal interest in students that are still the guiding principles of ITI Technical College
today. In 1981, ITI received accreditation by the Accrediting Commission of the National Association of Trade and Technical Schools, known now as the Accrediting Commision of the Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. ITI Technical Colelge began offering classes at the current modern facilities in 1979.

- Since then, courses have been added to the curriculum to widen the scope of the students and to more directly serve the needs of the business and industrial community. In 1993, the name of the school changed from International Technical Institute to ITI Technical College. In that same year, ITI became a degree-granting institution, offering Associate of Occupational Studies degrees.
- Known for it's quality graduates and nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commision of Career Schools/Colleges of Technology, ITI offers a variety of Associate Degrees and Certificate Programs in the following areas: Information Systems, Technical Drafting, Air Conditioning and Electrical Technology, Instumentation and Control Systems Technology, Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, and Operations Technology.
- ITI is dedicated to helping each student develop to the utmost of their potential, and offer numerous programs of instruction with specialized training in various technical fields. Among these programs offered are: Associate in Occupational Studies Degree Programs, Certificate Programs.
