- Louisiana Technical College provides statewide technical and vocational education and is composed of seven districts with forty campuses, each consisting of a multicultural population encompassing much diversification in the way of ideas, traditions, values, skills, and arts. This college is governed by the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) Board of Supervisors, which in turn comes under regulations set forth by the Louisiana Board of Regents for Higher Education.

After serving 33 years at the Louisiana Technical College, Bastrop campus, Assistant Dean Betty Garrett has retired. Garrett began her career at the college as a classroom teacher in 1977. Bastrop High School and Louisiana Technical College Bastrop Campus worked together to encourage Bastrop High students to work hard and earn IT Certifications. All students who earned an industry certification were eligible for the drawings for Dell Latitude laptops and Ipod Nanos. - LTC graduates (Bastrop Daily Enterprise)

Louisiana Technical College Bastrop Campus held its Spring 2009 graduation ceremony Thursday night. The graduates included Bastrop High School students, who took part in a dual-enrollment program.A complete list of graduates will be announced Tuesday.
