    Dr. C. Elvan Olmstead worked for years at David C. Cook Publishing Co. in Elgin until he retired in 1980. At age 86, he became the oldest person to graduate from Judson University, long after having earned a Ph.D.from Yale University. Affectionately nicknamed "Dr. O" and "Doc" by many, Olmstead died Tuesday at age 95.
