School Notes:

  • St. Catharine College was founded and continues to be sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of St. Catharine of Siena and is a Roman Catholic institution. Only one-third of our student population is Catholic with the remaining two-thirds represent various Protestant faiths.
  • St. Catharine College encourages students to pursue lifelong learning and to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, their community, and a just society.
  • Many changes have taken place in recent years that have brought statewide and national attention to our campus. This is reflected in a 68% growth in full-time enrollment and the approval of baccalaureate degrees by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We are very proud of our new academic programs and degrees, our expanded sports offerings, and our student life and residential experiences. We have worked hard to provide a comprehensive college experience in a rural, Christian setting.
