  • The Sage Learning Center (SLC) is a full-service learning center that provides a variety of tutoring options, small group possibilities, and technology-based learning assistance. Faculty and peer tutors meet with students on a drop-in basis, as well as by appointment. The most comprehensive support is provided in Math, English and writing. However, assistance is also available in the sciences, social sciences, humanities, and computer science areas.
  • The McHenry County College adult education department specializes in serving adults who have not completed high school or who cannot read and/or speak English at a functional level. Most courses and services are free to students.
  • Our unique curriculum combines the traditional coursework needed for degrees with the soft skills needed in management roles. Students earn an Associate degree that blends work experience, mentoring and classroom participation.
  • Student Life at McHenry County College offers students a variety of clubs and organizations to join and programs to attend.
