- Established over 30 years ago, and with more than 5,000 graduates, SDGA has grown to five campuses throughout the United States: California, Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, and Hawaii.
- SDGA is an ACICS accredited two-year golf college offering an associate of applied/occupational business degree program. The Academy has a combined curriculum of golf instruction, golf course management and golf business courses, with a faculty of over 25 full-time PGA professionals, plus business professionals and educators, all contributing to its superior reputation in golf career education.
- Each campus location is a customized learning environment designed specifically for the state-of-the-art teaching tools available. The professional staff and faculty at each location are dedicated to assisting you in reaching both your academic and golfing goals.
- SThe Golf Academy of San Diego, the first SDGA campus, was founded in 1974. TGSD's educational program and student services exist in a customized campus learning environment. The physical facilities of TGSD entail classroom, computer lab, club repair, library, lounge, student and placement service areas as well as administrative offices. Golf instruction, practice, and play are conducted at local driving ranges and at golf courses conveniently situated in San Diego County.
- SWith excellent year-round weather, residents and visitors can play at over 85 golf courses in the county. Highlights include La Costa Resort and Spa, Aviara Golf Club, and Torrey Pines Golf Course. For viewing golf events, San Diego is the site of the PGA's Buick Invitational, and the World Match Play Tournament Event held at the prestigious La Costa Resort.
