Melvin N. Baneck, 85, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Berlin Memorial Hospital, Berlin, WI. Melvin was born on June 17, 1924, in the Town of Hamburg, WI, the son of Edwin and Emma (Wendt) Baneck. He graduated from Athens High School in Athens, WI and in 1942 Melvin married Angeline Penn in St. Stevens Lutheran Church in Wausau, WI.
